24th of July.

Pioneer day we had a blast this year.

We started it out with the parade. Talon loved it this year and was so excited as the floats and animal went by. Talon was so cute waving his little flag and waving to everyone on the floats.

We then had a barbecue at Nathan's grandma Thomas' house.

It was such a beautiful day!

We set up a slip and slide for the little kids.

They had so much fun playing in the water.

Talon ate about 4 big pieces of watermelon all by himself. :)

We finished up the evening with fireworks.

Talon wasn't to sure about the loud noises they were making, other than that he did good.

All in all it was a great day and we all slept well that night. ;)

BINKY FREE!!

Monday night we went to Walmart.

Talon saw a toy that he really wanted. I asked him if he wanted to trade his Binky's for the toy and he said he did.

So we got him this Buzz Lightyear and had him watch us throw his Binky's in the trash.

He has been fine since.....he does still ask for them, we just remind him that his Binky's are in the trash and they are dirty and gross now. :)

The first couple of nights were rough but he is fine now. He only woke up once last night.

Swim!

We have really enjoyed the swimming pool at our club house this year.

Talon loves to swim! Nathan and I have been working with him and he is getting really comfortable in the water.

Talon loves when his cousins come over and swim with him.

July 4th Weekend.

For the fourth of July this year we went Camping with Nathan's family.

We always have a great time just relaxing, enjoying family and nature.

We always have yummy food. In the picture McKay is flipping his huge man cake. :)

Talon had fun blowing bubbles.

He loved getting very dirty.

I didn't love it quite so much.

Nathan set up a gaming area in the tent.

Talon had so much fun doing different crafts with the kids.

Band Aid?

Talon asked for a band aid and kept saying different spots he needed one.

So Nathan put one on his whole body. :)
