Like Mother Like Son

Talon climbed up to my computer the other day.

Usually he gets in trouble and taken right back down but this time I noticed he was sitting there exactly like I sit there. :)

It was so cute I had to take a picture. He is even on facebook and had his hand on the mouse......I probably spend to much time on the computer but I do try to only get on when he is asleep.

Licorice Caramels

I have been wanting to make these for the past week and finally got all the stuff together to do it.

I love them, my Grandma Valentine used to make them all the time and they have become a family favorite.

They turned out really yummy considering it was my first time making them......it is my first time making any candy. :)

Valentines Day

Sunday my brother Jed was put in the bishop brick in his ward and we were able to be there.

In the picture above Talon and Kody were having fun trying on shoes.


Talon keeps asking to see Kody and Lucas....we will have to get together soon. :)

Valentines weekend

This year we had a Valentine's party with my Grandma Valentine and all our family.

It was so great to get together and play games and visit with family we don't get to see very often.

It is going to be the new Valentine tradition to meet the Saturday before Valentine's Day and have a party.

21 Months Old!

I can't believe how big Talon is getting.

He is getting better at his colors. He will usually get orange and brown, mostly because he plays with my basketball and football and they are those colors.

He loves to crawl on the back of the couch, luckily we have it against the wall ....:)

Wow!!! Three more months and he will be 2!!

Talon loves to roll balls down the stairs.

He still loves to watch the Baby Signing Time videos and will ask at least one time a day to watch it. He knows all the signs to.

I love this kid so much....my life would be so boring without him.

We are still struggling with colors. He cant quite grasp it.

Big Boy Bed!

Talon was nice enough to pose for me. :)

This last weekend Nathan and I took down Talon's crib and now he is going to sleep on the big bed that was in his room.

He has so much more room to play and wants his dad and I to play with him in his room all day now.

We were afraid he was going to try and climb out of the crib and get hurt.

We bought a gate thing for the new bed so he wont fall out while he is sleeping.

He can now open the door to his room so in the morning he comes right out and into my bedroom. I get to wake up to the cutest "hi."

The first night was rough but he is better now and will sleep the whole night in his big boy bed. :)

He is growing up so fast. Soon we are going to take his Binky away, wish us luck!
